Red Nasturtium

A Poem by Mary Guckian
Vol.97, Issue 388

A lone red nasturtium

Glows like a star

This winter’s day

On top of the wild

Woodbine plant.

In my snug parlour

It shines over fog

And mist, keeps a hint

Of summer alive

While frost lingers lightly
